As an artist, author or entrepreneur - so much of what we wont' do in life is not the byproduct of a fear of failure - but rather, a fear of exposure.
Being ostracized, embarrased and vulnerable to the eyes and opinions of others.
In my experience, It never completely goes away - but there is true freedom
in disabusing oneself of this particular wasted use of one's creative energy & attention.
(this is from a very short book we published via a tiny book about back in 2023)
Reminding myself - that people don't really care as much as I think they do - is a great way to push through the perfectionism - and the fear of having one's inner life excavated by the eyes and opinions of imaginary adversaries.
