no matter how many times you start and stop, swing and miss or trip, slip and find yourself face down in the same ditch you pulled yourself out of hours earlier - having a supportive team that says - “hell yes, that’s a damn genius idea and you are exactly the right person to pull it off!” this has made all the difference in my own meteoric rise to Substack fame and fortune and i’d love the same for you.

viii. trust the science

ix. leave a legacy

the moment you realize that your niece is rummaging through your stuff a few thousand miles away, has very low expectations for a future windfall and doesn’t get your jokes all in one text.

Dear Agnieskzka - thank you for the warning and giving me an opportunity to respond. If this is about the unsolicited ju jitsu advice I sent Mark Z on tik tok, my apologies, but we white belts have to stick together. Is it we white belts - or us white belts? I'm never sure. Anyway - I'd appreciate a few hours to get as much personal documentation together as possible, as i'm sure you're gonna need a lot of it to get this whole mess sorted out. Thanks again, and i'll be sure to click on that link below, enough times to make sure my carpal tunnel comes back in time for tax season. Go Birds and keep being awesome.

xi. don’t take failure personally

xii. Don’t be a dick

xii. do your best

xiii. Bring reinforcements

never go into battle alone
  1. When you don’t know the Roman numeral, just wing it.
